The North Carolina Presbyterian Historical Society is looking forward to being in the very Presbyterian city of Charlotte for its Spring Tour on Friday and Saturday, April 26th-27th. Registration is $25. We will be visiting two Presbyterian universities, a seminary, four beautiful churches, and the Settlers’ Cemetery! Open Mic NightMay 3rd, 7:30pm, Chapel
Got talent? Do you sing, play an instrument, juggle, do comedy, tell stories, write your own poetry, or create art? We want to hear from YOU! Sharon Presbyterian Church will be holding its first ever “Open Mic Night”. All ages are invited and encouraged to come out and share their varied talents with our community, or simply come and out and enjoy the show and fellowship. Summer League Softball - June-August, Mondays & Fridays, 6:15pm, Ball Field 
Join us for a little exercise and friendly rivalry amongst the South Charlotte Softball league, about 30 teams from all denominations. The registration fee is $50 and the minimum age is sixteen. SPWS Spring FundraiserMay 16th, 5-7pm, Playground
Please join us for a fun night as we enjoy the new playground, and visit with SPWS families. We will have a bounce house and a food truck. Bring a blanket if you plan to picnic!

Campus Tour: What is the Gathering Room, and where is the gym? Did you know that we have a seminary, counseling center, and weekday school program on our campus? Brownie Troop Parent Information MeetingMay 19th, 11:45am, Parlor
Please join us for “What it means to be a Girl Scout”. We will start with a light lunch in the gym, followed by a meeting in the Parlor to share all that is great about Girl Scouts! There will be a presentation about Girl Scouting followed by a Q & A session. Plan to bring your daughter with you to enjoy some exciting Girl Scout activities with a group of graduating seniors from Girl Scout Troop 1460; a troop that has been sponsored by Sharon Presbyterian Church for the past thirteen years. Come out and enjoy an afternoon of classical music right here in our sanctuary!
Our own Dennis Anderson will perform a clarinet recital together with Dr. Greg Thompson, and special guest artist Hubert “Tex” Arnold, composer as pianist. Works by Debussy, Brahms, Bernstein and more will be featured. Admission is free! We sincerely hope you’ll be able to attend and support this labor of love.

SPWS Summer Camp: Active Fun!July 9th thru August 1st, 9:25am-12:50pm
SPWS is excited to host our annual summer camp. Join us every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as we explore our world through Active Fun. We will have tons of summer activities, crafts and more! New this year – we have extended our pick up to 12:50pm and students will eat lunch at school. Parents will pack lunches and we will not have mid-day snacks. We would like to encourage everyone who can give blood to join us! Giving blood is a way to improve or save someone’s life and you can make that difference!

Together in Education with Harris Teeter!! This program gives schools a chance to earn funds when you link your card and shop at Harris Teeter. Please link your Vic card to our school number: 2783. Please save all your Box Tops for Education! We collect these boxtops for SPWS. For each Box Top we receive, we earn 10¢. This allows us to earn cash for our school every time you buy groceries. Please turn them into the Box Tops box in the narthex.
