Congratulations in Christ to church member Rhonda McClain who has graduated from Union Presbyterian Seminary Charlotte, passed her ordination examinations, and received a call to be pastor of Beaver Creek Presbyterian Church in Kershaw, SC. Rhonda’s service of ordination and installation will be held at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church (421 Oakland Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730) on Sunday, July 15, at 3pm. All are welcome to attend and to support Rhonda in her call to become a Minister of Word and Sacrament.

Please bring your contributions for Loaves and Fishes. We will collect food items on the second Sunday of every month. Items can be placed in the Narthex of the Sanctuary.

Congratulations to Martin Pruitt, Director of Youth Programming of Sharon Presbyterian Church. Martin has earned a Masters of Divinity, and he will complete six more classes this year to receive a Masters of Arts in Christian Education.

Adventures in Learning (AIL) is an intellectually stimulating experience in an atmosphere of friendship. This summer, AIL will offer classes such as iPad Beginner, Jewelry, Artists’ Books and Printmaking Techniques, Conversations to Live By, Singing! Playground Players Summer Theater Camp! - July 30th - August 3rd, 12-5pm, Chapel
Revivals are all the rage on BROADWAY and Playground Players is BRINGING IT! Learn to love the classics! “Hello Dolly”, “West Side Story”, “Bye-Bye Birdie”, “Oklahoma” and “Annie”! We will stage scenes and songs from these iconic Broadway blockbusters! Build costumes pieces & props and learn on stage technique! As a follow-up to last summer's sessions, we will be using the video based "Twelve More Women of the Bible". Over the summer we will learn about a different woman each week - which means if you have to miss a session, you won't really get behind.
