The Middle Sunday School class will be collecting five dollar gift cards on behalf of the Room In The Inn ministry. You may bring your five dollar gift cards to either church service on Sunday or you may bring your five dollar gift cards during the Sunday school hour to the Middle Sunday school class located in the chapel basement. You may also drop it off labeled during the week in the church office. Last year we collected almost $2000. We would like to exceed that this year.

Room In The InnDecember 8th thru March 30th, Gym (overnight)
Beginning on Friday, December 8, Sharon Church will once again host Room In The Inn every Friday night through March. This vital ministry, sponsored by the Urban Ministry Center, helps to prevent those who are homeless from having to sleep outside during the coldest months of the year. The Presbyterian Women have graciously volunteered to do most of the Friday night dinners. Help is still needed to set-up, pick-up guests at the UMC, spend the night, return guests to the Transit Center, and clean-up. There is a table in the narthex today where you can get more specific information on these assignments and sign-up.  Thank you for being a part of this crucial effort.
