Dr. Fanning, will be speaking to The Shepherds of Sharon offering a primer in decoding and making sense of our complex medical world. Shepherds' Gatherings are always open to the entire congregation. SERVE

Lucy Koeniger, a senior member of Girl Scout Troop #1460, is hosting a book drive for her Gold Award. Please consider donating new or gently used books for preschool through elementary grades. Books will replenish libraries at our Weekday School, Promising Pages and Highland Renaissance Academy. Look for a donation bin in the Narthex starting September 3rd-16th. Thank you!

The Shepherds of Sharon faithfully and joyfully visit church members who are not able to be as active as they once were in in the life of the church. Shepherds listen, spread cheer, and provide encouragement in Christ. They also send cards to members who have moved away from Charlotte to be closer to their families. The time commitment is flexible and can be adapted to fit your schedule. If you would like to become a Shepherd or know of someone in our congregation who would appreciate having a Shepherd, please contact our Shepherd Ministry Coordinator, Susan Cline at susandcline@gmail.com or Associate Pastor Ron Nelson at ron@sharonpcusa.org or 704-553-0869.
