ANNOUNCEMENTS

The church office hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm. Church members and visitors are welcome to come by the office. Masks are optional in worship and other gatherings on the Sharon campus including the Sharon Presbyterian Weekday School. We recognize that this deadly Covid19 pandemic is not over and we remain committed to loving our neighbor through respecting personal spaces and maintaining high standards for cleaning. Thank you for doing your part in keeping our community as safe and healthy as possible.

The Children's Nursery at Sharon Presbyterian Church - All children, ages infant - 4 years old, are welcome in the nursery. It is located in the Charles Little Building and will be open from 8am -12pm. We look forward to seeing you and your children!

Traditional Sunday Worship Service - Sundays, 10:30am, In-person and Livestreamed
Indoor Worship service will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel for those of you that consider yourself ‘at-risk’, feel ill, have been recently diagnosed with COVID-19, or not yet comfortable with worshiping inside. Like and subscribe.

Women’s Bible Study - Wednesday mornings, 9:30am - 11:30am, Chapel Bldg, Gathering Room 202
We will begin on September 7th with a study of Galatians “Now that Faith Has Come”, a video based study by Beth Moore. All you need is a study guide to participate. These may be purchased at Amazon, christianbook.com or Living Proof Ministries. If you have questions, you may contact Carol Howie or Ann Cannon. (Nursery is not available at this time.)

Children Worship - During the 10:30am worship service, children ages 4 through 8 are invited to a special worship time in the Toddler classroom in the Charles Little Building. Ms. Kim and Mrs. Barnette will lead the children there right after the Children's Sermon, and parents/guardians can meet them in the Charles Little Building after the sanctuary service ends. Please sign your child in at the children's worship table located in the narthex. Don't forget to sign your child out when you pick them up! For information, contact Natalie Jendron.  

Sharon Presbyterian Women Circles - Circles are small groups of women who meet monthly for Bible Study and fellowship, and events open to all women of the church. If you are not already involved in a Circle, or may want to change the Circle you have attended previously, please contact Merrill Tibbals.

TEACH

Kingdom Kids - Sundays 9:30am, Barbara Ward Bldg, upstairs, Age 5 thru 5th grade
Kingdom Kids is coming this fall (beginning September 11th) during the Sunday School time! Kingdom Kids is a new classroom creation for learning about God’s love and teachings! Children will engage in exploration and inquiry of the Bible through experiential activities, spiritual practices, and reflection. Kingdom Kids seeks to deepen children’s faith formation and to build relationships with peers and adults in the Sharon PC family. Lectionary Class -  Sundays 9:30am, Union Presbyterian Seminary, Room C101-102
This class explores the scripture readings outlined in the Revised Common Lectionary, a three-year cycle of weekly scripture readings used in most Presbyterian churches across the United States and Canada. The group examines the scripture readings (which are used in Worship two weeks later) and relates the themes to our modern world. You can count on a spirited and dynamic discussion! Open to all. For more information, contact Susie Banks.

Covenant Westminster - Sundays 9:30am, Charles Little Bldg., Room 6
Formed in the mid-1980’s , this is a class of mostly retirees enjoying their grandchildren, with class attendance of 20-30 each week. The class enjoys interesting discussion around a variety of Christian-related topics chosen each year by a class survey. Meets all year. For more information, contact David Beers. 

Horizons - Sundays 9:30am, Chapel Bldg, Gathering Room 202
Formed in the 1980’s as the newest “Young Adult Class”, Horizons has developed into a caring, active group of middle aged, empty nesters. With average attendance around 25, the class is an interactive environment to share beliefs, with lots of Q&A. Meets year-round. For more information, contact David Stanford. 

Cornerstone Sunday School Class - Sundays 9:30, Chapel Bldg, Room 201
Cornerstone class includes parents of young families. This newly-formed group meets weekly during the Sunday School hour for spiritual learning on various topics, such as Christian parenting and living an uncommon life. They also plan regular social gatherings for themselves or for their families. For more information, contact Brian Wieland.
