The church office hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm. Church members and visitors are welcome to come by the office. We will be following CDC guidelines by increasing cleaning procedures, having hand sanitizer readily available and wearing face masks. We ask that all members and visitors to wear a face mask when visiting the church campus. 

These Days daily devotion books for October, November and December are in! For those not familiar with the publication, it features daily devotions written by clergy and lay leaders. The devotions provide a scripture reading and a guide for thoughtful prayer. If interested in receiving a copy, please email Elizabeth Burgess or call the church office with your address and she will get one in the mail for you!


Morning Song Sunday Worship Service - Sundays, 8:30am, Chapel
The Morning Song service is a more contemporary type worship with wonderful acoustic music from the most talented musicians in town. This service is offered in addition to the 10:30am worship service. If you have any questions about either service, please contact the church office 704-553-0869.

Traditional Sunday Worship Service - Sundays, 10:30am, In-person and Livestreamed
Indoor Worship service will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel for those of you that consider yourself ‘at-risk’, feel ill, have been recently diagnosed with COVID-19, or not yet comfortable with worshiping inside. Like and subscribe.

Children's WorshipSunday Worship for children Ages 3 and Up
All children 3 and up are invited to a special worship time in the Price Outreach Center. Ms. Kim, Mrs. Barnette, and Ms. Stephenie will lead the children there right after the Children's Sermon, and parents/guardians can meet them in the Outreach center after the sanctuary service ends. Organ Dedication Concert - Sunday, October 3rd, 4:00pm, Sactuary (FREE)
World renowned organist Hector Olivera will literally pull out all the stops in a special dedication ceremony for our new organ. Mr. Olivera helped design our organ and you will never hear it played quite like this! 

Youth Fall Retreat - October 1st-3rd, 6th-12th graders, Montreat

Sharon Presbyterian Youth Basketball - Games on Saturdays, December thru Mid-March
Welcome back SPC Basketball! We will be fielding teams for boys and girls between the ages 5-18. If you would like to join us this year, registration is now open until October 17th midnight. Practices will be held during the week with games on Saturdays. Division and age requirements are listed below. Masking requirements will reflect those of Charlotte Mecklenburg County Schools. Requiem for the Living: Remembering Those We've LostOctober 30th, 7:30pm, Santuary
Charlotte's premier semi-professional choir, VOX, presents Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living in a memorial service for those whom we lost in 2020 and 2021. Unlike most requiems, Requiem for the Living is not just about the dead; rather, it is a prayer for release from the pain and sorrow of those who remain alive. David Tang leads VOX, the Firebird Arts Chamber Orchestra and outstanding vocal soloists in this powerful expression of loss, grief and hope.

Sharon Presbyterian Women have several Circles that are currently meeting. Circles are small groups of women who meet monthly for Bible Study and fellowship, and events open to all women of the church. Glad you're here, moms, dads, grandparents, and caregivers! A nursery is available for you for all services and Sunday School times so that you can focus on your personal worship. But if you want to bring your baby along with you instead, we are happy to have your child participate right along with you in worship and in Sunday School. Covenant Westminster Sunday School Class - Sundays 9:00am, Meeting via Zoom
Formed in the mid-1980’s , this is a class of mostly retirees enjoying their grandchildren, with class attendance of 20-30 each week. The class enjoys discussion around a variety of Christian-related topics led by various members of the class. Study topics are determined each year by a class survey. Lectionary Sunday School Class - Sundays 9:30am, Union Presbyterian Seminary
This class explores the scripture readings outlined in the Revised Common Lectionary, a three-year cycle of weekly scripture readings used in most Presbyterian churches and Protestant churches across the United States and Canada. The class explores the readings and then relates the themes in the lessons to our modern world. Horizons Sunday School Class - Sundays 9:30am, Gathering Room 202, Chapel Bldg 
Formed in the 1980’s as the newest “Young Adult Class”, Horizons has developed into a caring, active group of middle aged, empty nesters. Cornerstone Sunday School Class - Sundays 9:30, Room 201, Barbara Ward Bldg 
Cornerstone class includes parents of young families. This newly-formed group meets weekly during the Sunday School hour for spiritual learning on various topics, such as Christian parenting and living an uncommon life. They also plan regular social gatherings for themselves or for their families. For more information, contact Liz DeNittis.

Mid-Week Meditation & Prayer Gathering - Wednesdays 4:00pm, Meeting via Zoom

Loaves and Fishes Drive-by Food Collection – Saturday, October 16th, 3-5 pm; front driveway connecting the church's two main parking lots (if raining, under covered walkway)
Volunteers will be stationed along the driveway that connects our church’s two main parking lots. Simply drive up, pop your trunk and your non-perishable donations will be collected. No glass containers, please. If the drive-up collection time doesn’t work for you, feel free to drop off your donations in the church office the week prior from 9am – 4pm, Monday – Friday. The greatest needs are canned meats, canned fruits, canned pastas, peanut butter, and boxed pasta noodles. In their 2020 Impact Report, our church was listed as a Loaves and Fishes “Top In-kind Donor!” Let’s continue to take a bite out of hunger in our community in Christ’s name!
