SERVE

Thanks to all our members who have served on teams and substituted to make Room In the Inn program succeed! Because of you, 91 of our homeless neighbors were provided shelter and three meals at our Church on Friday nights during December and January! BUT there is a VERY BIG need for substitutes to spend the night, and to drive our guests to and from up town on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. If you are interested in learning more, please email Phyllis Acton at pacton70@gmail.com. Your consideration is much appreciated!

Red Cross Bloodmobile February 23rd, 8:30am-1pm, Gym
Thank you for your support in past drives! However, as the city of Charlotte grows the need for blood donations grows. Though you have consistently helped us reach our goals, we need to step up and challenge ourselves to give more each time. Please consider giving! We will be in the Narthex before and after each service on the next two Sundays to take reservations or you can call either Dave or Letty Latta at 704-321-3420. Early morning appointments go fast, so if you can come for any of those later times it would be appreciated.

Together in Education with Harris Teeter!! This program gives schools a chance to earn funds when you link your card and shop at Harris Teeter. Please link your Vic card to our school number: 2783. You can be linked to multiple schools and we are happy to link your card for you. Just complete the enrollment form in the narthex. Thank you for your support of SPWS.

Please save all your Box Tops for Education! We collect these boxtops for SPWS. For each Box Top we receive, we earn 10¢. This allows us to earn cash for our school every time you buy groceries. Please turn them into the Box Tops box in the narthex.
