We are a people of community supporting each other in faith, in all aspects of life.  The body of Christ, the church, is critical to strengthening faith and growing on our spiritual journey.

Senior Bridge Group
Thursdays 1-3:00pm, Activity Bldg Parlor.
A weekly game of fun. Varying ability levels.  We play right through summer and vacation times, so call and join us any time.   Contact the church office for information and to reserve your seat.  704-366-9462.


Summer Softball League

Sharon is a decade-long member of the South Charlotte Church softball league, which supports up to 32 teams, from beginner to competitive.  With nearly 2 dozen players of all age brackets and levels, there is a place for every adult.  Season is from June through August, games on Fridays and Mondays on ball fields across Charlotte. Bring a lawn chair and settle down to cheer the team. For questions, contact organizer Keith Mason or the church office.

Mondays and Wednesdays, 11:45am - 12:30pm, Chapel Parking Lot

Functional Balance Exercise Class
Mondays & Wednesdays 1:00-2:00pm, Activity Bldg
Cost:  $5 per class (first class FREE)

Functional fitness training helps slow aging-related loss of mobility and are developed to help restore your body back to how it was designed to move.  You will get 55 minutes of efficient, quality functional movements that will enhance not only the “trouble areas” but also it will nourish your spine, revitalize your postural muscles and strengthen your core and place a lot of emphasis on balance training. You will leave the class feeling as if you have been challenged in every way; feeling refreshed and re-energized as your metabolism speeds up and your posture, strength and flexibility all improve. Questions or concerns please contact Suzi at srosen@carolina.rr.com. Empty Nesters and Beyond!
11:30am, Quaterly Luncheon, Activity Bldg
$8.50 per person

All empty nesters are invited for fellowship, food, and usually lively entertainment.  Watch the church bulletin for the next one’s menu and special entertainment.  Empty Nesters and Beyond collects canned goods for Loaves and Fishes at each event. Check back for start date.
